Go bold or go home.

Forget about keeping things low profile while trying to kill the cold, this season fur variation will make you feel fabulous facing the storms.

So unleash your wildness from the forgotten part of your closet and wear your fur anytime & anywhere.

Dare to wear it big & colorful as seen on the catwalks. Dare to wear it in the day time with your favorite jeans to keep it hip!

Brown or Berry?

One simple question to answer this season: Brown or Berry?

Although i’m not a big fan of brown when it comes to clothing, this fall i’m crushing over this colour in all lipstick shades (Matte terracotta, creamy coffee, deep brown, burnt brown…) giving us a throwback to the 90s. It’s suitable for every skin color & flattering for all lips shapes!

As for the berry shade, we’ve already seen it on different catwalks but this season it would be exciting to try the darker shades of it like plum and purple. Those shades will guarantee a dark romantic touch to every winter look.

Now tell me which of the innovative shades will upgrade your winter makeup, brown or berry?

Potter’s clay: My pick for autumn

Temperature might be dropping down but the Potter’s Clay pantone is here to warm things up!

The color of falling leaves will add refinement to your outfit with its earthy tone and hint of orange & ochre.

Whether layered with other neutrals, color blocked or worn from head to toe, this pantone color is one of my top picks for this season on all fabrics & it’s the perfect substitute for the classic brown.

P.S: I rarely wear brown; I basically hate it…unless it’s about makeup, than you have to wait for upcoming posts 😉

The combination of the two shades creates an unusual harmony i can even say romantic! So here’s a some items i gathered to start the new year with inspiring colors.4231

Bag trends to shop this winter

Shopping for a bag might be the easiest thing to do, yet the trickiest. As you have to ask yourself some fundamental questions before heading to the stores.

Question 1: How much am i willing to pay?

Question 2: When will i wear it?

Question 3: What size should i go for?

Question 4: What style fits me more?

Question 5: What’s trending this season?

Hopefully this post will help with the 5th question, as the four others vary according to your personal needs. So here are my top 5 bag trends to shop this fall/winter!

FUR: I can say that this winter fur is the warmest trend to shop & nothing screams winter chic more than holding a fur bag.

SNAKESKIN PATCHWORK: Reptile skin bags are a must have addition for a chic winter wardrobe. Start looking for colored & combined textures for a bag that turn heads!

Python patchwork

FRINGES: The seventies wave is everywhere this season & so are fringes!Fringes

BOX BAGS: After the circular bags last season, this season box bags invaded the runways in all kind of material & sizes!

QUIRKY BAGS: From weird shapes, to modern typography & graphics, this fall don’t hesitate shopping for those bizarre statement bags!

Shiny fall trends

While everyone’s eyes is on Paris fashion week for SS16 let’s keep focused on this season, the season of the bling! Because this fall is all about big jewelry that turns eyes! It is not just about statement necklaces, but about big earrings, chunky bracelets,  beautiful hair clips & even a full pierced face like seen at Givenchy.

I have to admit that I’m very excited about the brooch comeback. This season dare to style your brooches as they can be used as an embellishment to your jackets, knits, scarfs & even hats adding a sophisticated flare to your warm fall looks. Without forgetting that this trend can be pocket friendly, as brooches can be found in so many shops & the best ones might even be found in your grandma’s drawer!

W I can’t believe we are half way December, just 9 Days left till Christmas! Every girl should own a red lipstick but I tend to choose a bit darker shades. From the Burberry Christmas 2014 campaign: Burberry Lip Mist in Oxblood No.214 6. Oversized sweater are the best thing for cold weather, choose a bold color & style them well to stay far from a boring look.I went for a pink cable stitch oversize sweater – Zara 8. A timeless piece is a constant love reminder – Michael Kors Lexington Tri-Tone Chronograph Ladies Watch Mk5735 10. Meanwhile I don’t have a reading list but Paolo Coelho book “Adultery” is having a good feedback so why not? I would appreciate more reading suggestions 🙂 11. The lace up trend is still hot since last spring/summer season. And those heels can turn any simple outfit from average to outstanding! – Sam Edelman Zavier Caged Lace-Up Pump 12. Loved the texture & shape of this bag the moment I saw it, but I have to admit I like the one in Oxblood more! Perforated office city bag – Zara.

Stay warm & chic!

Lebanon was blessed those couple of days with heavy rains forcing us to switch to a warmer wardrobe. I know we are all trying to postpone this switch as much as possible, but I also know that we are all ready to embrace new fall/winter trends.

One of the must-have trends this fall is the cape trend that you could spot on many runways (Blumarine, Dolce&Gabbana, Saint Laurent…) with versatile styles and materials.

This trend alters to different forms too like ponchos and blankets, hitting the streets widely with the personalized Burberry blanket worth 1,395$ seen on our favorite celebrities like Cara Delevingne & Sarah Jessica Parker.

Everyone can pull off the cape/poncho/blanket trend but be careful with the way you wear it. You don’t want to look like you’ve been recovering from illness!

Wear it with slim silhouette like skinny jeans, with shorter length items like shorts, or just belt it around the waist. And no matter what look you adopt make sure you can move easily and use your hands comfortably!

Finally this fall winter season don’t hesitate using your crazy over the top outwear to make a winter statement and stay warm at the same time!

Redhead by choice

Last week I dyed my hair red! It’s not my first time with the red shades. I used to go for a red brown color that turned into light copper after a while. But this time I chose a more vibrant shade. I picked the color myself and was a little bit surprised by the result, as I wasn’t expecting such a strong color! After the first wash, I was more relaxed especially when I saw positive reactions from people around.

I encourage every girl opting for a change to try red hair color especially if she has a pale skin tone like mine. But before you should pay attention to some tricks:

– Choosing the right shade for your skin tone is very important as you can find so many shades of red!

– Red hair color requires the biggest amount of care, as the color tends to fade quicker than other colors.

– You might want to consider a new haircut (my next step). When you die your hair with a bold color, it’s better to have a clean cut with the right length or it will look shabby.

– When you change your hair color you should pay more attention to the color you wear. Some might be more flattering than others.

Crop it off

Hello all Monday survivor! To help you keep the weekend vibes in you, here’s a post about the MUST HAVE trends for this summer: the crop tops! It might not be the easiest trend to pull off especially if you’re not a 16 year old teanager with toned abs. But we all love fashion because you can & you should mold it to fit your body and personality. So don’t be afraid to go for the cropped top, you can pair it with high waisted pants for a modern off to the edge look or with a midi or pencil skirt for a classic extra feminin twist.
Here’s my selection to you!
